Wheels officially opened it’s doors in a little wood shed behind a weatherboard house in Howitt St Ballarat, Victoria, on the 15th April 1982. We had our own sets of wheels and started restoring, buying and trading in Alloy/Mag and steel wheels.

We proceeded to travel across Australia in search of all early wheels to fully recondition to a standard that would be expected of new. This included wreckers, mechanics, car restorers, swap meets and just about anywhere we could find wheels to restore and supply the growing number of customers we had requiring them.

In 1985 to make it a one stop drive away service, the move was made to incorporate tyres into the business.

Since then we have included a drive-thru style tyre fitting centre with tyre repair and wheel alignment service.

We stock all the major new tyre brands and offer a customer friendly waiting area for fast professional service.

Wheels have been a locally owned and family operated company since 1982.  Now with original and 2nd generation family members within the business.  We hope to remain that way for many years to come.
